Norpath Elements makes it easy to incorporate a wide range of media formats including text, html, images, video, audio and midi within the application. These media elements can be easily configured to be dynamically controlled by the application or by user interaction. Norpath Elements includes a complete set of fully integrated rich-media tools for creating vector-based interactive text, graphics, diagrams, and animations.

Interactive Graphics

Norpath Elements includes a comprehensive set of drawing, text, and diagramming tools for producing custom vector-based graphics. All shape and text elements have a wide variety of properties that can be controlled by other elements or by user-based interactions.

Dynamic Layout

The Dynamic Layout editor provides designers with an intuitive graphical method for dynamically changing size and position of shape, text, and image elements based on the size of the runtime's window. By simply selecting one of the editor's anchor points for an element, designers can quickly change the relative or absolute position and size of an element.

Images, Rich Text, and HTML

Norpath Elements includes a variety of image, rich text, and HTML elements that designers can use to incorporate new or existing content.

Interactive Multimedia

Norpath Elements makes it easy to incorporate many types of multimedia into your application. Whether you are adding video, audio, or MIDI: it's all the same. Simply select the media file and drag and drop it into your content. The standard media elements support a variety of popular formats across different platforms including: mov, wav, mp3, aiff and mid. Media elements also have a wide variety of properties and controls that can be used to create custom interactions with other elements or can be controlled directly by the end-user.

QuickTime 7 Support

Norpath Elements adds support for playback and control of Apple's QuickTime 7 Player. QuickTime provides support for additional media formats and codecs including MPEG-4 video, Flash, QuickTime VR, and Sorenson.

Object-Based Animation and Sequencing

Norpath Elements' object-based animation provides the designer with an intuitive and more natural approach to creating animation. Object-based animation allows the designer to build dynamic and event-dependent animation rather than just being limited to traditional frame-based animation. The Sequencer element shown below allows designers to coordinate the triggering and animation of multiple elements as a single event. The sequencer can control animation, multimedia, and time the triggering of other interactions in your application. Multiple sequencers can run and interact independently.
