| Feature Tour: Enhanced Runtime Features |
|
| |
|
| The Norpath Elements Runtime provides
much more than a standalone environment to run and display interactive
content. The Runtime's customizable property features allow designers
to quickly enhance the look, feel, and functionality of their application.
The Runtime shown below is just one of the many standard themes
included with Norpath Elements. Designers can also create their
own custom themes using the runtime theme editor. |

| Runtime Display Options |
|
| |
|
| The Runtime's customizable display
options include: custom splash screen, icon, menu, toolbar, help,
and frame sizing. The Runtime interface includes a fully featured
navigation explorer. Enabling the integrated explorer makes it easy
for designers to add end-user navigation for large multi-page projects. |

| Runtime Theme Editor |
|
| |
|
| Themes provide the ability to quickly
change the look and feel of the Runtime to match the content and
any branding requirements. Themes support color, font, and image
customization for different areas of the Runtime interface. The
Runtime is composed of five customizable areas: the menu, toolbar,
explorer, status bar, and content area. Custom themes allow designers
to keep the same look and feel across all operating systems. The
Runtime includes a special theme, Desktop, that configures the Runtime
to look like the user's current desktop no matter which operating
system. |

to preconfigure an application for kiosk type environments. When
running in kiosk mode, the runtime can be locked with a password
that is required to launch and exit the application. |
